Style Scoop.

The biggest color story for Spring this year are the new Ice-cream shades.Pistachio, Mint, Vanilla, Lavender mixed with with soft and blush pink  – these are the key colors that made this seasons’ wardrobe. Well, what appeals to me happens to be the nude and blush pinks…

Well, need i say more… Girlie, Romantic, Feminine…..Mmmmmmm….. looks yummy enough to eat.

To end off… i will throw in an additional scope of accessories style from Chanel Spring / Summer 2010. Inspired by the rustic couture culture, Karl Lagerfeld  have had the classic quilted flap bag wrapped in straw colored and chicly tattered tweed. For both Fashion and Accessories he have proved that simple fabrics can be really pretty, sexy, chic and absolutely fabulous as well.

will blog on the fashion part separately… stay tuned…

I have always enjoyed Chanel. Hope you feel the same too!!

Story Line:

No Slaying Required: A Viking Aids an Enemy and Wins a Friend

This new 3-D feature from DreamWorks Animation — is a fairly standard one, exploring themes that are so familiar in the universe of all-ages cinema that they hardly need elaborating. The hero, a young Viking named Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel), is a misfit adolescent who proves his mettle, pleases his hard-to-please father (Gerard Butler) and saves the world while learning important lessons and rattling off some wisecracks. But the main attractions of the whole show is actually the cute non human sidekick – a jet-black, cat-eyed dragon named Toothless.

In the show, when Hiccup first meet Toothless (a type of dragon especially feared by the Vikings of Berk) he was scared and helpless and had a damaged tail which prevented him from flying. Hiccup then outfits him with a brace and a prosthetic fin and unknowingly, the young man, intuitively decodes the animal’s behavioral patterns, debunking generations of Viking superstition about the bloodthirsty, aggressive nature of dragons while building an unbreakable bond with the non human friend.

The development of the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless is conveyed virtually without dialogue, which reminded me  of “Wall-E”  – which kinda established this trend of “silence” in animated entertainment. As such, allowing a  freedom to create expressive images (often renders words superfluous) but if its accompanied with good music it can at times achieve – exalted cinematic artistry.

Definitely a must watch!!

The renowned Chloe Paddington when launched in Spring/Summer ’05, had a queue equivalent to what Hermes have for the Birkin today. The bag made sales history for any range Chloe bags that ever existed even the last launched Chloe Marcie leather bag couldn’t achieve the benchmark that the Paddington has set.

The Paddington has definitely superseded all those other bags, which were once the it-bag. Such as the Balenciaga Lariat, the Fendi Baguette, or Gucci’s Jackie bag which had definitely caused a stir in their days, but were somewhat accessible – even if you had to pull a some magic to get one. However, not so for Chloe. This bag has sold out before a single one has made it to the boutique’s shelves.

Well, every “IT” bag would have their glorious days, unfortunately within the rapidly change of trends and consumers’ taste in the Fashion industry – one day you are in, the next you are out ideology. The fate of this beautiful bag has came to be like “the once  it-bag” as mentioned above. Still a classic but its another bag kinda mentality.

Thou the practicality of the padlock on the 14″ handbag is questionable, it adds extra weight to an already pretty heavy bag. The zips on both sides are quite thick and not that easy to operate, especially when you’re carrying it on your shoulder.

Never the less, the Paddington is undoubtedly the perfect bag for girls who like the worn-in, slouchy look, perfect for a day at work and which one is not to keen on dressing up.

Outfit for the day.

Take a Bow.

one of favorites….

so you know i have this thing for bows. I can’t help it. I just love them.

Bows can be used for various reasons as an appliqué which can really soften a rigid structure, to accessorize a plain outfit or room.

Simply love this season’s creation by Kate Sylvester.
